ÓJ&K-ÍSAM is one of Iceland‘s leading wholesales and distributors, formed in 2021 through the merger of two established importing firms, Ó. Johnson & Kaaber and ÍSAM. ÓJ&K was established in 1906 and still stands as the country‘s first and oldest wholesale, while ÍSAM, founded in 1964, brings six decades of expertise to the table. We are a progressive company, built on solid ground. Our staff has great, accumulated experience and knowledge of the brands we sell and are well connected in both the retail and catering markets.
We import a diverse selection of products from all over the world, ranging from frozen food to dry goods, hygienic and cleaning products and more. We also specialize in coffee and coffee-related products, accessories and machines.
Each and every person on our staff is a valued member of the ÓJ&K-ÍSAM team of 130 people. We strong unit that works well together – and make a point of getting together outside the workplace for fun and family activities, organized by Huginn, the company’s staff association.
